spring break

We're going to Florida! We finally found out over the weekend that we could get this motel room for a fabulous price. We're leaving Friday March 21 and coming back March 30. I feel like I can get excited now because we didn't know for sure if we could get this room---but now I'm feeling it. It's been two years since we've been on a vacation, and that was to visit family in Mexico which doesn't always feel like a vacation. George and I were just talking this morning that we can't wait to just lay on the beach. We definitely don't like doing alot of other stuff---I.E. sightseeing or checking out shops. Unless we are just meandering around at night after we eat and see something cool to stop and see. We're going to be just north of Sarasota in Bradenton. We'll probably drive down to go to the beach at Siesta Key because that's where we love to be..... We don't care where we stay, we're just glad to be going to the beach where we can relax and bond as a family. It's been a crazy 8 months or so since the fire, and it's time to recharge our batteries!

Fraught and edgy. Simple and deep. My thoughts betray me and I cannot sleep. We the people.
